Co-operation with companies
Long-standing tradition and experience has proved that University / Industry cooperation brings advantages for both parties. That is why the long-term management policy is concentrating on broadening its cooperation, as well as on looking for new ways of partnership. Recently, cooperation within projects subsidized from public European and domestic sources has become increasingly important. Due to the initiation of new funding programmes – the Seventh Framework Programme and new programming periods of EU funds – greater potential for this kind of cooperation can be provided.
The Faculty of Chemistry offers partnerships to private companies and public bodies, especially in the below-mentioned spheres:
Solving practical chemical-technological and technical problems
Bachelor or diploma theses and academic dissertations

Cooperation in preparing the alumni for labour market
Participation in research and development programs funded by public sources
