Open day and Chemistry day at the Faculty of Chemistry BUT on 12 February 2026
Do you want to study chemistry that has real meaning and practical application? Come on 12 February 2026 to the Open Day and Chemistry Day and discover what the journey from the laboratory to a career looks like at our faculty.

OPENING | 9:00, lecture hall P1
Kick off the day with presentations about studying and student life at the faculty, delivered directly by our students. We will officially launch Chemistry Day and introduce partner companies you can already cooperate with on projects during your studies.
INFORMATION STANDS OF STUDY PROGRAMMES | laboratory wing, 9:00–14:00
Current students will introduce individual study programmes and their focus areas. At the Study Department stand, you will find answers to all questions regarding the admission process, enrolment, and other formalities related to starting your studies at the Faculty of Chemistry. And on top of that, a relaxed vibe on the couch, merch, and our speciality, hot bubble tea apple juice!
CHEMISTRY DAY: COMPANY STANDS | 9:00–14:00, laboratory wing
Broaden your horizons regarding career opportunities in chemical disciplines! At the company stands, you can learn a lot of interesting information and get a clearer idea of how your future professional career could develop.
LAB STORIES | 11:00, lecture hall P1
Forget traditional lectures. In LAB STORIES, our students will show you in short and dynamic talks what life at the faculty is really like. You will see science and research up close, as well as what studying and student life look like. Get inspired and discover what you can achieve as a chemist. Don’t miss it!
LABORATORY TOURS | start from the laboratory wing at 10:00 and 12:30
Get to know our laboratories! Tour blocks require advance registration due to limited laboratory capacity. Register for one or two tours according to your interest. Tours start at 10:00 and 12:30 from the study programme stands in the main Open Day area in the laboratory wing. REGISTER FOR THE TOURS HERE
