PhD students from the Faculty of Chemistry BUT gained valuable experience at a summer school in Kraków and laid the foundations for a new partnership
Hands-on laboratory training, technical visits, and the beginning of a new international collaboration. PhD students from the Faculty of Chemistry at Brno University of Technology took part in a summer school focused on soil and groundwater research in Kraków, Poland. In addition to gaining valuable scientific experience, they also laid the foundations for future cooperation between the Faculty of Chemistry BUT and AGH University.

The programme also included technical visits to a geothermal facility in the Podhale region at the foothills of the Tatra Mountains and to a mineral water bottling plant in Kraków. These visits demonstrated the practical application of hydrogeological and environmental protection research.

Participation in the summer school confirmed that international cooperation provides students not only with valuable knowledge and practical experience but also with opportunities to build professional networks and develop collaborative research activities across European universities.
