Original Abstract
Presented is analysis of factors causing the change of the real gage factor of high-temperature strain gages installed with ceramic cements. A calibration tool to mimic the load on the strain gage during the test of gas turbine and to determine the real gage factor is described. Calibration data obtained for two samples of nickel-chromium strain gages with different base length is given and analysed.
