English abstract
Unhindered phenols were oxidized with PbO2 in the presence of nitrosobenzene and nitrosodurene. The phenoxy radicals generated are trapped in their resonance form as ortho-carbon-centred radicals. two types of aminoxyl radicals were formed whose structure was determined by ESR spectroscopy.
