- Controlled-release antioxidants for polymers
The issue is to introduce into a polymer, preferably polyolefin, heterogeneous domains, acting as sources of stabilizing structures. These supersaturated domains release stabilizer into the matrix during polymer application. This allows efficient protection of polymer during more demanding applications, where stabilizers physical loss due to volatilization or extraction may occur.
