Rector honored distinguished personalities at the 26th academic assembly of BUT

On Wednesday, September 18, 2025, the Brno University of Technology held its ceremonial academic assembly, where the traditional Rector’s Awards for outstanding achievements in studies, research, and sports were presented. Among the awardees were also representatives of the Faculty of Chemistry.

The Rector’s Award of BUT for outstanding results in scientific preparation through doctoral studies was presented to:

  • Ing. Stevan Gavranović, Ph.D.

  • Ing. Jan Fučík, Ph.D.

  • Ing. Vojtěch Jašek

For outstanding achievements in sports representation of BUT, the award was presented to:

  • Ing. Petr Horvát
