2nd Autumn Workshop on Functional Organic Materials for Sustainable Future

On September 11, 2024, the second autumn workshop entitled 2nd Autumn Workshop on Functional Organic Materials for Sustainable Future took place at the Faculty of Chemistry, ICTEP. As the name suggests, the event focused on the latest trends in advanced materials and their application in devices for a sustainable future, with an emphasis on environmental protection in line with the Green Deal for Europe. Partners from major universities from all over the world presented their cutting-edge research here, such as Austrian JKU LIOS (Prof. Sariciftci and his team), Italian UNIBA (Prof. Farinola and his team), South Korean Inha University (Prof. Bong Sup Shim), Indian IISc (Prof. Reghu Menon), American NCSU (Dr. Michael Daniele) or Prague's IOCB (Dr. Dominik Farka). In the following days, most of the participants also actively participated in the Chemistry & Life conference organized by the BUT Faculty of Chemistry.
