Invitation to the lecture: Chemical engineering design with ASPEN HYSYS/PLUS programs

We invite you to a professional lecture by Anatolijus Eisinas from KTU Kaunas, focused on the use of ASPEN HYSYS and ASPEN PLUS software packages for the design of technological processes in chemical engineering. The lecture will take place on April 15 at 17:00 PM in room P16 and it will be held in English.

Aim of the lecture:

  • Introduction to chemical engineering process design software packages: what are the differences between them and how can they be used in practice.
  • For example, what are the benefits of chemical engineering process design software packages (for you as a user), or how do you explain them to other types of engineering students?
  • How to select and calculate optimal parameters for a specific technological process.
  • For example, is it possible to solve a chemical engineering problem without using equations and a calculator?
