FCH students gained experience at an international programme in Split
Student Ondřej Kunovský from the Institute of Materials Chemistry (ÚCHM) joined fellow colleagues in participating in a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) at the University of Split. This international course, focused on connecting chemistry, technology, and sustainability, offered not only valuable academic insights but also priceless experience in international collaboration. As Ondřej says, it was an opportunity worth taking — and he shared his experience with us.
BIP is a great opportunity within the Erasmus+ programme to participate in a short-term study stay that combines online learning with physical mobility abroad. Students and academics from across Europe came together to share knowledge, collaborate, and explore how chemistry can contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.
I would recommend participating in BIP to anyone interested in getting a first taste of international collaboration. It’s a perfect opportunity for those who are considering a longer stay abroad but want to start with something shorter. You’ll meet new people, work on projects with colleagues from all over Europe, and take home plenty of experiences and contacts.
So, if you’re wondering whether to apply for a programme like this, the answer is simple: Go for it!
