Abstract

Original Abstract

The ignition of diaphragm discharge in water solutions is studied in dependence of the solution conductivity. The DC non pulsing high voltage is used for the discharge creation. The voltage needed for the generation of bubbles as well as discharge breakdown voltage decrease with the increase of the solution conductivity. Both these parameters directly proportionally incease with the barriere thickness.
