Original Abstract

This work discusses possible use of sentinel organism Helix aspersa (gastropoda, pulmonata). This terrestrial snail was used for possible negative effects determination of different real matrixes, highly contaminated by arsenic. For such a purpose, four different life stages of the named organism were used (eggs, newely hatched snails, juveniles and adults). The efect of two, nutritionaly divergent food was also evaluated.
