Portable medium pressure liquid chromatography (MPLC) system is designed. Modular flexible open platform design with off-the-shelf component is used. A microfluidic platform with 5 mL syringe pumps can operate at up to 10 MPa pressure. UV LED on-capillary photometric detection performed after the capillary column. Isocratic and gradient separations of dyes and preservatives are demonstrated. art
