Abstract
Original Abstract
Cyanobacteria are Gram-negative prokaryotes performing oxygenic photosynthesis. In comparison with heterotrophic microbes, these microorganisms utilize N2and CO2without need of adding substrates. These microorganisms can be employed in biotechnology for production of bioplastics polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) which are accumulated as storage materials in cells.
