Original Abstract

Preliminary experiments showed that the soluble cellulose derivatives themselves can serve as a good binder of moulding quartz sand in the concentration around 2 %, depending on the type of cellulose and its solubility. At present, the optimization of the mixtures moulding sands and the propeties of the moulds are being tested, enabling the recyclability of the sands.
