Original Abstract

The aim of this work is the design, synthesis, and subsequent analysis of a novel environmentally friendly Cs3Bi2I9 perovskite. Cs3Bi2I9 is a promising material for optoelectronic applications such as solar cells and photodetectors due to its excellent light absorption properties in the visible and near-infrared regions. The paper, after successful synthesis, is mainly devoted to the non-destructive characterization of the perovskite material using energy-dispersive electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and X-ray photoelectron microscopy. The data obtained confirm the successful design of the perovskite structure. These results thus serve as a crucial step in the subsequent advanced development of a lead-free sensor.
