Original Abstract

The relationship between the presence and severity of diabetes-associated dermatoses (DAD) and the degree of modification of th stratum corenoum keratin by non-enzymatic glycation was investigated. Further, the realtionship of parameters characterizing micronutrient antioxidative status and DAD was studied. Finally, the corelation between the intermediate and long-term markers of metabolic compensation of diabetes was tested.
