Original Abstract

Při využití kalů ve vysokoteplotních procesech mohou nastat potíže při zvýšeném obsahu rtuti v kalu, neboť může dojít k převedení rtuti z pevné fáze do vystupujících převážně kouřových plynů.

English abstract

Sewage sludge from municipal wastewater treatment plant has been used commonly in agriculture. Experimental works were focused on the determination of drying parameters and removing of mercury. Results sum temperatures of drying, drying rate, start of carbonisation and content of mercury in the solid phase. The dry sludge may be used for the clinker production.
