Original Abstract

The transformation of organoarsenicals during the natural decomposition of brown kelp Ecklonia radiata was followed using HPLC/ICPMS. The arsenosugars originally present in Ecklonia degraded first to DMAE, and then to DMA and inorganic arsenic.
