DPP diketo-pyrrolo-pyrroles stable and bio friendly organic derivatives, optical properties and applications determined. . The push-pull DPP substituted pi compounds are actually for us subject of great interest because they exhibit strong second-order nonlinear effects. The redistribution of the electronic density in the ground states like in the excited one can strongly affect their absorption and fluorescence properties
