Sediments represents matrices from ecosystem, which are possible to reuse as fertilizer. One of the problem which is necessary to solve is evaluation of their possible ecotoxicity. In this abstract is discussed ecotoxicological evaluation of sediments of various origin via aquatic ecotoxicity tests and the need of contact ecotoxicity test.
