Chilli drink developed at the Institute of Food Science and Biotechnology

More than 2 years of cooperation of doc. Pavel Diviš with the Moravian chilli farm Kolstrunk and Herfort led to the creation of the new product – Vitachill beverage made from chilli peppers. Thanks to the careful measurement of the SHU units (Scoville heat units) of different types of peppers, a unique recipe was developed. At the same time, the development of the drink was also supported by sensory analysis under the auspices of doc. Eva Vítová. The drink contains a number of bioactive compounds that are beneficial for human health.
Chili peppers are a superfood that has recently become very popular both for its health benefits (acceleration of metabolism, reduction of blood pressure, prevention of cardiovascular diseases) and stimulation. The developed drink has all these positives, it serves to refresh and encourage.
