Successful representation at 77th Chemical Congress

PhD students from the Department of Food Chemistry and Biotechnology had the opportunity to attend the 77th Chemical Congress which took place in Starý Smokovec in High Tatras between 1st and 4th September. The congress focused on the latest advancements in the fields of inorganic, materials and organic chemistry and was complemented by section dedicated to chemistry education and popularization.

Ing. Michaela Dobrovolná, Ing. Pavlína Knapovská and Ing. Radim Stříž participated by presenting their research through poster sessions. They also attended lectures on protein engineering, biotechnology, food chemistry as well as other lectures, for example the plenary lecture on the topic – Will the oganesson be last known element?

Prizes for PhD students and/or young scientist were awarded during the closing ceremony. Our students Ing. Michaela Dobrovolná and Ing. Radim Stříž were among those selected.
