VII. year of the hemp fair KONOPEX

n 26-28 April, the 7th annual Konopex hemp fair will take place in Ostrava. The exhibition will also include a three-day lecture programme for the general and professional public. Topics will focus on legislation, cultivation, technology, processing and use of cannabis in industry, cosmetics, food, medical practice or self-medication. Visitors can also participate in workshops focused on the production of hemp ointment and other cosmetic products, or the extraction of herbs in practice. This trade fair with a lecture section can be beneficial for students interested in cannabis and its possible applications in cosmetics, food and medicine. It can therefore serve as an inspiration for a thesis topic. As invited guests, the event will be attended by Ing. Helena Hudečková, Ph.D. and Ing. Štěpánka Trachtová, Ph.D. from the Institute of Food Chemistry and Biotechnology of the Brno University of Technology.
