The course includes knowledge, technics and tools corresponding with project manager competence along the European standard IPMA. Student is able to achieve certificate (National student certificate or IPMA-D).

Methods, tools and technics overview:
LRM, stakeholders identification and analysis, risk management, SMART, WBS, SOW, histograms, Gantt charts, CPM, MTA, RACI, EVM, change management, etc.

The course output is knowledge, skills and competencies required for student integration to project teams based on acquired competencies recommended by IPMA national certificate organization. It includes these competencies:

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course uses teaching methods in form of Seminar - 2 teaching hours per week. The e-learning system (LMS Moodle) is available to teachers and students.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Passing the course includes these requirements:
a) electronic written test 40 question, min. 40 min. Min. 50% point for passing.
b) written composition (project) and its presentation, grades E and better

Aims

The course presents the project management topic as it is understand in international context. The course content includes knowledge, methods, tools and technics corresponding with project manager competence requirements according to IPMA European standards. Student who passes this course and comply with the other conditions set by certification authority gets IPMA National Student Certficate. Student can utilize the knowledge for other comercial certificates (IPMA-D. IPMA-C, IPMA-B).
