Learning outcomes of the course unit

The students should have understood some life processes on the molecular or cell level. Besides, they should have understood the evolution of the living systems and to learn their basic classification. Recquired knowledges are defined more detailed by annotation, curriculum and basic literature.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of secondary school biology and chemistry.

Co-requisites

Not applicable.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course uses teaching methods in form of lecture (2 teaching hours per week). The e-learning system (LMS Moodle) is available to students.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

The exam is written. It is examined the understanding of the explained concepts, their relations and selected figures as well as theories.
