Course detail

Introduction to Functional Materials for Advanced Technologies

FCH-BC_FMPTAcad. year: 2024/2025

The first half of the semester will consist of lectures on functional materials for electrotechnical applications such as semiconductors, ferroelectric and ferromagnetic ceramics, dielectrics for capacitors, piezoelectric materials and superconductors. In the second half of the semester, students will be introduced to the application of these materials in lectures and practical demonstrations of regional technology companies that produce functional elements for the automotive and aerospace industries, electrical engineering and electronics.
