The aim of presented work is to study biotechnological capacity of red yeasts cultivated on selected food and agricultural waste substrates. Some substrates were processed by extraction, enzyme hydrolysis or chemical hydrolysis. All studied strains were able to utilize most of substrates including lignocellulose materials.
