This paper focuses mainly on the use of isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC) and high-resolution ultrasonic spectroscopy (HRUS) in the study of interactions between the negatively charged polysaccharide hyaluronan and positively charged amino acids. Due to the opposite charge of the two polymers, the nanoparticles formed by the electrostatic forces between the polymers occur when they are mixed.
