Originální abstrakt
Fluorescence energy transfer via Förster mechanism occurs by a radiationless, coulombic, dipole-dipole interaction between two molecules (donor and acceptor) and is active over the range from 1 to 10 nm. This process is dependent upon the donor-acceptor distance. Therefore, energy transfer has been proposed as a spectroscopic measure for determination of interchromophore distances in macromolecules and microheterogenous systems. This paper deals with determination of critical transfer distance called Förster distance between perylene and fluorescein in two cationic micellar solutions (CTAB and Septonex) as the basis for further experimental work.
