In this work, we studied the complex response of soil environment to long-term (90 days) irrigation of model plants Allium schoenoprasum with plasma activated water (PAW). Simultaneously, the effect of PAW on the model plant vitality was also assessed using photosynthetic pigments and polyphenols determination. This study brings a new perspective on the PAW interactions with soil environment, which need to be characterised before PAW utilisation in agriculture.
