Originální abstrakt

This contribution present results of breakdown in DC diaphragm discharge in NaCl water solution. The breakdown voltage was estimated 1100-1300 V in wide range of conductivities (200-1200 microS.cm-1) with breakdown currents of 20-30 mA. Both these values were slightly dependent on the conductivity, voltage was decreasing and current was increasing with increase of solution concentration. Beyond this "stable" region, the breakdown characteristics were strongly dependent on the conductivity.
