Originální abstrakt
The sterilization of water solutions by means of DC diaphragm discharge has been studied. Spores of fungi Aspergillus niger were used as a bio-indicators. The plasma power input and the treatment time were varied in order to see the influence of these factors on the antimicrobial effect of the DC diaphragm discharge. Significant reduction of the viable microorganisms was observed with increasing both the treatment time and the plasma power input.
