In this work three carotenogenic yeasts strains (Sporobolomyces roseus, Rhodotorula glutinis, Cystofilobasidium capitatum) were enrolled into a comparative screening study. Each stran was cultivated at optimal growth conditions: at temparature 28 with pernament lighting and shaking. Strains were cultivated on glucose medium and in media with or without adaptation on hydrolysate substrate.
